Wicked Twister

Intamin built seven "Impulse Shuttle Coasters" between 1998 and 2003.  This particular coaster is very similar to rides such as Vertical Velocity and Superman: Ultimate Escape/Steel Venom, built in 2000 and 2001.  However,  Wicked Twister has several changes from these previous coasters.  Both of these vertical spikes have twists, whereas the previous rides had one straight and one twisted spike.  Also, the train on this coaster seats more people than the trains on earlier Intamin Shuttles.

The building with the giant "12E" painted on it used to house the Disaster Transport bobsled coaster.  The structure enclosing the lift hill can be seen running diagonally up toward the large letters.  The top of the lift hill was situated just above those letters.  The coaster, which was called Avalanche Run before it was enclosed, closed in 2012.
