Lakemont Park

Altoona, Pennsylvania

Lakemont opened in 1893 as a trolley park and is currently the 8th oldest operating amusement park in the United States. It was also known as Boyertown USA for a few years in the 1980s when it was owned by the Boyer Candy Company. The park was closed for the 2017 and 2018 seasons. When it reopened in 2019, many of its amusement park rides were gone. The park closed all of amusement park rides in 2024, and is currently in a dispute with Blair County as to the lease and operations of the park. The park is home what was the world's oldest operating roller coaster, but Leap The Dips has been Standing But Not Operating (SBNO) since 2024. Skyline has also been SBNO since 2024.
